THE DESIGN PROCESS

ÓR Irish Schnapps comes in its own unique bottle
with the distinctive celtic knotting pattern in relief
around the base and the “fada” above the front label.
A fada in the Irish language is an accent used
to tell the reader to lengthen the vowel sound
so the correct way to pronounce ÓR is OOORR.
The ÓR logo design with the “R” inside the “O” is representative
of ancient celtic ring forts where the clan would live in the protective
encirclement of raised banks of fortifications,
knowing that, in there, their most precious possessions were safe.
Their children, their livestock and their gold.
The “R” is the embodiment of this as it finds its refuge within the “O”.
ÓR is a very precious possession.
